Challenge
Gate City Bank sought to use its ad placement space in Prairie Business magazine to promote its new business loan product. The design needed to transform promotional content into a credible, editorial-style story—engaging readers while avoiding the look and feel of traditional advertising.

Solution
I created a three-page advertorial that solved the challenge of promoting a financial product without it reading like an ad. By blending editorial layout with storytelling, impact graphics, and a QR code call-to-action, the piece felt authentic, engaging, and actionable.

Results

  • Published in 20,000+ print copies and the online edition of Prairie Business

  • Drove business loan applications by elevating visibility of the loan product

  • Positioned Gate City Bank as a strategic partner for local business needs
